Flipside is headed to the Move Conference in Fort Caswell  September 17th through the 18th.  It is going to be an amazing time for students to connect not only with their church friends but students from around the area who are sold out and ready to take Jesus back to their schools.  The cost of the trip is $70 and a $25 deposit is due by August 28th.  For more information contact helen@rockwilmington.com or call the church office 602.5300

Nothing holds a person paralyzed like fear. The fear of failing, rejection, getting hurt, etc.. has the ability to keep you from the incredible plans God has for you. If God hasn’t given us fear then where do we pick it up?

We bruise when we fall down, our hearts hurt when we’re rejected and we smile when we taste ice cream (at least I do). However, the bible tells us we exist in a reality that is much more real than this physical one. John 17:16 tells us that we are not of this world. So what does that mean? It means we can hear the voice of God without physical ears, we can speak healing to those who are hurting, we can pray and things will change.
