Flipside is headed to Journey Camp July 9th-13th.  It is going to be an amazing time of learning and growing in God through powerful worship and incredible communicators.  It will also be a week packed with fun and adventure on the campus of Toccoa College.  The cost of this trip is $300 which includes transportation, lodging and food. A $50 registration deposit is due by April 15th.

March 11th is Flipside Live and we are doing it up March Madness Style.  If you need cash, love basketball, or simply want to have a good time, you need to be here.  There will be a Money Shot with a winning prize of $50.  Here are some ways you can get a chance to make that shot.

1.  Have the best time at the Training Camp Course
2. Bring the Most Friends
3. Demonstrate the most spirit (come dressed with the most spirit)
4. Just show up and get a ticket and hope you have the lucky number

It starts at 7pm, doors open at 6:30.  Training Camp Course Trials will begin at 6:30 so you don’t want to be late.

Back to the Basics

In a world of non-stop entertainment where more is never enough, Flipside is taking a turn that is a little unorthodox  and we are headed back to the basics.  Beginning next Sunday, January, 15, 2012, Flipside will be from 7pm-8:15pm each Sunday.  You will need to bring your Bible, a pen, and a notebook.  We will be learning what God’s word says, focusing on learning how to pray for our friends, our schools and this city.  Expecting that God will be who He promised to be and show up and meet us.  There will be no pizza, or candy, or sodas, but there will be plenty of amazing opportunties to learn the power of God and see Him grow in our lives.

Teenagers loved to be entertained but more than we want to entertain you, we want you to experience the power of God and how He can radically change your life when He is given the opportunity.
We will still have Flipside Lives and events designed especially for Flipsiders.  These events will be announced well in advance.  Our next event is the Superbowl Tailgate party.  You will find out more about the Tailgate party in an upcoming post.

Flipside is changing days but not time.  Starting August 28th we will be meeting every Sunday night from 7:00pm -9:00pm.  There will be some amazing new things that are happening.  On August 28th, you will have the opportunity to hear from your new leader, John Fuller.  He will be sharing his heart and vision for Flipside..  There is going to be amazing opportunities for learning and growing in your relationship with God sandwiched between a lot of fun.   You don’t want to miss this first Sunday! Besides, there will be some pretty cool giveaways too!
